A Dedicated Prayer ...
Heavenly Father,
We come before You with grateful hearts, seeking Your guidance and blessing as we serve others. Thank You for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those we help. Your Word in Galatians 6:9 reminds us, "Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up." Strengthen us to persevere in our work, showing kindness and compassion to everyone we encounter.
Lord, we lift up those we serve—individuals facing challenges, pain, and illness. Bring them healing, hope, and peace. For those struggling with mental health, guide them toward Your comfort, as You promised in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
We ask for protection for families, friends, and communities. Guard them against illness, addiction, and harm. Help us to focus on prevention, promoting health and safety in all we do. As Your Word says in Psalm 91:4, "He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart." Let us trust in Your care and provision.
Finally, Father, let us strengthen and encourage one another. Your Word says in Proverbs 27:17, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." Help us to build each other up, sharing wisdom and love as we grow in faith and service together.
Lord, I pray that the clinics we work with educate, train, serve the employees, patients, their country and their community. That they be ethical and financially fruitful so that they may re-invest, grow and continue serve others, including those that do not have access the highest level of care offered in the world and/or no access to care at all.
In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
